Cat Urine-How To Make Sure You Get It All Out.
How To Make Sure You Get All The Cat Urine Out.
“Here’s a comment from one client and how I answered her question.
“Hi Andre- I met you back in January. I had a problem with my cat urinating in my daughters room. I was able to remove the marks with “Nature’s Miracle” but not the smell.
I spent roughly $115 on the Gallon Jug, the light and the needle. I’m about 80% through the gallon jug. The problem I’m having is now I have big blotchy yellow stains and the smell still remains. I used the light, the needle and waited every two weeks.
Well I’ve been doing this for awhile and I believe I’m worse off. Any suggestions??? I can’t afford to spend anymore money and want to work with what I have left. Please help!!! Maria”
Maria you are on the right track, however this means you have not gotten the area completely covered with the product, even though you’ve done it a few times.
I’ll give you an example.
Let say you were just to the left of the concern even though you theoretically see where the original deposit was. In most cases the urine spot maybe the size on the surface of a golf ball, but underneath the carpet it’s 2 or 3 times the size of what the original spot is.
so in order to get it all, you must treat the area larger then what you’ve done so far. As for the yellowing, that usually comes from dye destabilization and transfer of some color in the cleaning solution that was used.
One other thought, is the carpet you are using the product on a lighter color? Has it been treated before with other products? If this is the case, this is the prime reason why this happens.
As for Pet Friendly For Odors it have not cleaning agent to cause discoloration, it only uses bacteria to create the enyzems that only destroy the smell. One of the main reasons our product may take some time removing the odor is other cleaning agents my inhibit them from working as quickly as they would otherwise work.
But with targeting the right spots, using enough agent and waiting for the results you’ll do fine. Finally at this point I would tell you that you should rinse the area with clean water (carpet cleaning extraction is best) then let dry and treat again.
Secondly confirm you found all the areas using the blacklight, including surrounding furniture, bedding and the like, because in many cases if you walk into a room that have the smell and let says the deposit is on the bottom of the curtains, bedding, or golf bag…then you might think the product didn’t work. In all the years I’ve used this product, It hasn’t failed, but sometimes I fail it by not correctly inspecting or applying enough of the product.
Thinks laser beam, when you do your future treatments. That should help. Let me know if you have any other Andre’
She writes back and says…
“Thanks for getting back to me. You are right, I’m sure I’m not getting the whole area. I’m frustrated though. Can you give me an estimate on cleaning my daughters carpeting? Maria
